Spaces of Intensity
The focus of the Hungarian architecture practice, 3h architects, which was founded in 1994 by Katalin Csillag and Zsolt Gunther, is on the sensitive transformation of urban spaces and historic buildings. They set spaces with great intensity and complexity against a world that seems incomprehensible, often linking them with interrupted strands of history and creating unmistakable space effects using daylight and artificial lighting. Their work covers offices, housing and educational buildings, as well as castles and churches, and has already attracted a number of awards. Együtt és külön : az erdélyi magyarok önszerveződése (1989–1990)
Az 1989-es romániai események magyarországi szemszögéből történő kutatása 2010-ben indult el a kolozsvári Nemzeti Kisebbségkutató Intézet keretében. A kutatás lezárásaként készült el az a tizenkét tanulmány, amely jelen kötetben kapott helyet, dokumentálva és értelmezve a magyar/kisebbségi szerepvállalást és önszerveződést. A bevezetőt követően két nagy egységbe rendezve szerepelnek az írások: előbb a Bánság és a Partium, majd Közép-Erdély és Székelyföld 1989-90-es eseményeinek történetével foglalkozva. Olyan témákról olvashatunk egyebek mellett, mint a temesvári magyar közösség politikai önszerveződése az 1989-es temesvári események után, a forradalom Nagyváradon, a máramarosszigeti vagy a szatmárnémeti történések, Háromszék központjának viharos fél éve vagy az 1989-90-es fordulat eseményei Kolozsváron.
