Die Digitalisierung beeinflusst das Lehren und Lernen im Deutschunterricht wie kaum eine andere Entwicklung. Der vorliegende Theorieband der Reihe "Deutsch Digital" gibt vor diesem Hintergrund zunächst einen Einblick in den aktuellen Forschungsstand und zeigt Entwicklungsperspektiven für die nächsten Jahre auf. In einem zweiten Teil sind die unterschiedlichen Endgeräte wie Smartphones, Tablets und interaktive Whiteboards im Blick. Anhand zahlreicher Beispiele werden sowohl die technischen Grundlagen nachvollziehbar erklärt als auch Einsatzmöglichkeiten im Deutschunterricht aufgezeigt. Zahlreiche weiter Beispiele befinden sich im Praxisband dieser Reihe.
"Retten uns die Phänomene?"
Muss die globale und jederzeitige Verfügbarkeit des Wissens, muss die sogenannte Digitalisierung das Lernen in der Schule nicht fundamental ändern? Wenn statt der konkreten Dinge immer häufiger der Computer zu den Lernenden spricht, muss dann der Unterricht nicht nachhaltig anders werden? Brauchen wir nicht möglicherweise als komplementäres Element zur vom Computer präsentierten Welt die unmittelbare Erfahrung, die leibliche Begegnung mit den widerständigen Dingen und die rationale Auseinandersetzung mit Fiktion und Realität? Und muss nicht die Schule angesichts dieser omnipräsenten virtuellen Medienwelt eben solche unmittelbaren Erfahrungen gezielt ermöglichen und offensiv provozieren? Diese Fragen standen im Zentrum eines fächerübergreifenden Symposiums an der Universität Wien, dessen Titel inspiriert war durch Martin Wagenscheins Aufruf "Rettet die Phänomene!" aus dem Jahr 1972. Mit diesem Tagungsband werden die Plenarvorträge u.a. der Erziehungswissenschaftlerin und Philosophin Käte Meyer-Drawe, die fachbezogenen und fachdidaktischen Referate und die Berichte der Arbeitsgruppen vorgelegt sowie die vielfältigen kleinen phänomenologischen Impulse dokumentiert.
