Descendants lived in New England, New York, Utah and elsewhere. Direct descendant Dwight harding (1807-1871) was born in Massachusetts and married Phebe Holbrook in New York. They became Mormon converts and moved to Illinois and then to Utah.
Richard Harding, and his brothers John and Joseph, immigrated from Barnstable, Devon, England in 1623 to Weymouth and later Braintree, Massachusetts. He married twice and died in 1657. Includes eight chapters about Warren G Harding (1865-1923).

Emigrant ancestor, Daniel Brainerd, was born 1641 in Braintree, Essex Co., England. He came to America at the age of eight and lived in Hartford, Connecticut until 1662 when he bought land in Haddam and made it his permanent home. He married Hannah Spencer (ca. 1641- 1691) ca. 1664. They were the parents of eight children.
