Penyusunan buku ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pemikiran bahwa untuk mewujudkan daya saing sebuah bisnis, maka diperlukan sebuah fungi oprasioanl bisnis yang kuat, kokoh dan tangguh. Statistika Pendidikan Matematika
Buku Statistika Pendidikan Metamtika ini ditulis untuk memenuhi kebutuhan referensi mahasiswa dan dosen di program studi pendidikan matematika STKIP Hermon Timika khususnya pada mata kuliaj statistika pendidikan matematika. Kebutuhan akan adanya buku ini bisa membantu para mahasiswa dan dosen pada jurusan pendidikan matematika, karena sangat dirasakan apalagi buku kuliah jurusan pendidikan matematika lebih banyak menggunakan bahasa inggris dan jumlahnya pun terbatas, harapannya dengan adanya buku ini kekurangan referensi tersebut dapat terpenuhi. Buku ini berisikan materi statistika yang digunakan sebagai alat penelitian. Adapun sytuktur pokok modul ini terdiri atas tujuan pembelajaran, uraian materi, dan latihan. Tujuan pembelajaran digunakan untuk mengetahui arah atau tujuan pembelajaran materi tertentu. Uraian materi digunakan untuk pemberian informasi atau pengetahuan kepada mahasiswa. latihan digunakan untuk menguji kemampuan mahasiswa dalam materi yang telah dipahami.
Memotret Realita
Realita yang ada di sekolah di-‘potret’ di sini, menjadi pemikiran tertulis yang menarik didiskusikan lebih lanjut. Dari soal “perilaku anak yang nerokok” terhadap prstasi belajar anak itu sendiri, sampai dengan perkemahan, sebagai media pendidikan karakter di sekolah. Ditulis oleh 54 orang guru, yang setiap orang tersebut melahirkan pemikiran tentang masa depan anak, danb pembelajaran. Menarik dibaca oleh guru, orang tua, dan masyarakat luas, agar (tentunya) ikut memikirkan suasana di sekolah, karakter anak dan perkembangan pembelajaran.
