With the rise of China and massive new migrations, China has adjusted its policy towards the Chinese overseas in Southeast Asia and beyond. This book deals with Beijing’s policy which has been a response to the external events involving the Chinese overseas as well as the internal needs of China. It appears that a rising China considers the Chinese overseas as a source of socio-political and economic capital and would extend its protection to them whenever this is not in conflict with its core national interest. The Twelfth Session of the Fisheries and Resources Monitoring System (FIRMS) Steering Committee Meeting (FSC12) was held online from 18 to 21 October 2021. The FSC12 deliberated to proceed with the publishing of the Global Tuna Atlas developed with active contributions from the five tuna regional fishery management organizations (t-RFMOs), with the Global Record of Stocks and Fisheries (GRSF) towards validation of all records and their public dissemination, and with the integration of national Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 14.4.1 data into the GRSF. The FSC12 also considered a survey on the use of FIRMS by partners for strategic decisions for the 2020–30 decade.
This Standard specifies the content limits of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the ink (in the ready-to-use state) used in the printing process of printing enterprises in Guangdong Province; it also specifies the requirements for VOCs emission control. This Standard applies to the VOCs emission control of existing printing enterprises, as well as the environmental impact assessment, design, completion acceptance of projects under construction, reconstruction and expansion, and the VOCs emission control of these pollution sources after completion.
