The book includes new research results of scholars from the Third International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Technologies (ICAIT 2022) organized by IRNet International Academic Communication Center, held during October 28–30, 2022. The book covers research work from active researchers who are working on collaboration of industry and various intelligent technologies such as intelligent technologies applicable/applied to manufacturing and distribution of industrial products, factory automation, and business. The topics included are all computational intelligence techniques applicable/applied to industry, intelligent techniques in data science applicable/applied to business and management, intelligent network systems applicable/applied to industrial production, intelligent technologies applicable to smart agriculture, and intelligent information systems for agriculture.
A newly revised and updated edition that details both the theoretical foundations and practical applications of reliability engineering Reliability is one of the most important quality characteristics of components, products, and large and complex systems—but it takes a significant amount of time and resources to bring reliability to fruition. Thoroughly classroom- and industry-tested, this book helps ensure that engineers see reliability success with every product they design, test, and manufacture. Divided into three parts, Reliability Engineering, Second Edition handily describes the theories and their practical uses while presenting readers with real-world examples and problems to solv...
The volume includes a set of selected papers extended and revised from the 2011 International Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Technology, held on London, UK, November 24-25, 2011. Mechanical engineering technology is the application of physical principles and current technological developments to the creation of useful machinery and operation design. Technologies such as solid models may be used as the basis for finite element analysis (FEA) and / or computational fluid dynamics (CFD) of the design. Through the application of computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), the models may also be used directly by software to create "instructions" for the manufacture of objects represented by the models, through computer numerically controlled (CNC) machining or other automated processes, without the need for intermediate drawings. This volume covers the subject areas of mechanical engineering and technology, and also covers interdisciplinary subject areas of computers, communications, control and automation. We hope that researchers, graduate students and other interested readers benefit scientifically from the book and also find it stimulating in the process.
