Mein Kind ist den Weg schon gegangen – Bewältigung von stiller Geburt
Der plötzliche Verlust eines Kindes in der zweiten Schwangerschaftshälfte durch intrauterinen Tod ist ein Ereignis, welches die Eltern mit der Zerbrechlichkeit des Lebens in drastischer Weise konfrontiert. Das Kind war bereits Teil der durch die Schwangerschaft sich umstrukturierenden repräsentationalen Welt der Eltern. Seine Existenz im Diesseits blieb jedoch flüchtig. Die vorliegende qualitativ-empirische Studie zeigt die Komplexität dieses Verlustes auf, indem sie – eingebettet in den theoretischen Rahmen des Konzeptes der elterlichen Trauer nach D. Klass, des Modells "Die Gezeiten der Trauer" nach R. Smeding und der Theorie der kritischen Lebensereignisse – die Prozesshaftigkeit der Bewältigung und die Gestaltung des Elternseins bei betroffenen Müttern und Vätern beschreibt.

A Call to Commitment
Deuteronomy 10:12-11:32 is a very important text for the book of Deuteronomy. However, it has not received an adequate exegetical treatment so far. The present study intends to meet this need. Following a synchronic approach Thomas Karimundackal examines the text exegetically and theologically in its context. He analyzes the text extensively by referring to its intense relationships within Deuteronomy and with other biblical books. He shows how Deuteronomy 10:12-11:32 serves as a hermeneutical key to understand and interpret the theology of Deuteronomy. As a transitional passage, it connects the former framework and the Law Code in Deuteronomy, and thus forms a bridge. In addition, it is repeatedly connected to the latter framework of Deuteronomy, and thus proves to be a hermeneutical key to the book. From a theological point of view, the unique statements about God in Deut 10 stand out. The author also reflects on the role of the community and the contemporary relevance of the text.
Interculturality, Rationality and Dialogue
This work is a philosophical investigation into the argumentative conditions for intercultural dialogue in Latin America. Through a critical discussion of some key theories of argumentation and intercultural dialogue and a thoughtful analysis of the Latin-American context of diversity, this book develops an intercultural model of argumentation based on the criteria of Intercultural Reasonableness and Discursive Interpellation. These criteria, which have a contextual and dialogical character, aim to offer the appropriate normative ground for a polylogical argumentative dialogue, in which the parties can make use of their own types of language and rationality without presupposing a common standard for the rational evaluation of arguments.
Wired for Holiness: A Theological Anthropology of Youth Based on David Kelsey
What is youth and how can we develop a theologically enriched youth vision? This dissertation presents an example of a youth view out of systematic theology. Departing from the theological anthropology of David H. Kelsey ("Eccentric Existence") it develops a theological anthropology of youth in the light of how the human person is being related to by God through creation, eschatological drawing and reconciliation. The dissertation was presented in 2018 at the Faculty of Catholic Theology of Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität, Bonn, Germany.

This book draws the philosophical contribution of Martin Heidegger together with theological-spiritual insights from the East, especially that of Nikolai Berdyaev. Thus, it brings into dialogue the West with the East, and philosophy with theology.
