Geometric Aspects of Functional Analysis
This is the third published volume of the proceedings of the Israel Seminar on Geometric Aspects of Functional Analysis. The large majority of the papers in this volume are original research papers. There was last year a strong emphasis on classical finite-dimensional convexity theory and its connection with Banach space theory. In recent years, it has become evident that the notions and results of the local theory of Banach spaces are useful in solving classical questions in convexity theory. The present volume contributes to clarifying this point. In addition this volume contains basic contributions to ergodic theory, invariant subspace theory and qualitative differential geometry.

International Code of Signals
In the early 20th century the US "International Code of Signals" was a very progressive way for vessels to communicate important messages regarding matters of safety and navigation. The edition of 1907 contained three sections: the first part depicts urgent and important signals and all the tables of money, weights, barometric heights, etc., together with a geographical list and a table of phrases formed with the auxiliary verbs. The second part is an index. It consists of a general vocabulary and a geographical index. The third part gives lists of the United States storm-warning, life-saving, time-signal, and wireless telegraph stations, and of Lloyd's signal stations of the world. It also contains semaphore and distant signal codes and the United States Army and Navy and Morse Wigwag Codes. Reprint of the original edition.
Membrane Computing
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-workshop proceedings of the 10th International Workshop on Membrane Computing, WMC 2009, held in Curtea de Arges, Romania, during August 24 to 27, 2009 under the auspices of the European Molecular Computing Consortium (EMCC) and the Molecular Computing Task Force of IEEE Computational Intelligence Society. The 22 revised full papers presented together with 10 invited papers went through two rounds of reviewing and improvement. An Exponential Function Approach To Parabolic Equations
This volume is on initial-boundary value problems for parabolic partial differential equations of second order. It rewrites the problems as abstract Cauchy problems or evolution equations, and then solves them by the technique of elementary difference equations.
