Alfred Robinson Papers
Primarily business correspondence to and from Robinson, in his role as a San Francisco merchant and as agent for the firm Howland? letters from Howland? and other business correspondence from various individuals and companies (1848-1849). Also includes miscellaneous papers concerning Howland? documents pertaining to voyages of two brigs: the Belfast, which journeyed from Panama to San Francisco, Feb.-May 1849, and the Cayuga, apparently a river barge that carried gold miners and supplies from San Francisco to Sacramento; a list of goods with their Mexican tariffs (1847); personal letters from John C. Jones, a friend in Mass. (1852-1859); and a few personal papers, including a passport (1839), a passbook for an account with Chemical Bank (1852), and a letter (1837) to José de la Guerra.
Alfred Robinson Logbook and Diary
A printed log book containing entries for Robinson's 1829 voyage from Boston to Monterey aboard the ship Brookline; and a second vol. containing a brief record of Robinson's subsequent activities at Monterey and along the Southern Calif. coast. The first vol. includes a few miscellaneous entries, recording a trip from Santa Barbara to Boston (Dec. 1837), and entries written from Mass. and at sea en route to Monterey (1839 and 1840). The second vol., when inverted, is a copy book of business letters from Robinson, chiefly to Bryant, Sturgis? and includes miscellaneous notes concerning births in the family (1837-1838) and a short a play titled "The doctor" in another writer's hand. Both volumes contain pencil and watercolor sketches, of land and seascapes, and of a ship, possibly the Brookline.

Lloyd’s Register of Yachts 1966
The Lloyd’s Register of Yachts was first issued in 1878, and was issued annually until 1980, except during the years 1916-18 and 1940-46. Two supplements containing additions and corrections were also issued annually. The Register contains the names, details and characters of Yachts classed by the Society, together with the particulars of other Yachts which are considered to be of interest, illustrates plates of the Flags of Yacht and Sailing Clubs, together with a List of Club Officers, an illustrated List of the Distinguishing Flags of Yachtsmen, a List of the Names and Addresses of Yacht Owners, and much other information.
