Komik, atau biasa diterjemahkan sebagai cerita bergambar, merupakan salah satu bentuk karya sekuensial yang memiliki banyak penggemar. Komik terdiri dari elemen visual dan non-visual, artinya dalam komik terdapat elemen kasat mata seperti gambar, phonogram, balon kata, dan sebagainya. Juga terdapat elemen tak kasat mata, seperti plot dan pesan yang dibawa. Beberapa hal tadi menjadikan komik mempunyai daya tariknya tersendiri. Buku ini membahas struktur komik.
