Murder Not Quite Buried
Disabled former cop Shane Daniels is asked by the lawyer he works for to review the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of a woman seven years ago. She's now been declared legally dead and her husband is about to receive a huge life insurance payment. But the discovery of the bodies of a woman and a young child, partially buried in a wooded area near Shane's hometown, brings shocking family news for Shane and sends him looking for a cold-blooded killer. Meanwhile, Shane's partner, Emma, is trying to protect an eight year old girl who became an amputee in a deliberately caused accident that killed her parents. To matters worse, the young girl is being hunted by a vicious criminal gang. The 14th issue of the Transactions on Computational Science journal contains nine papers, all revised and extended versions of papers presented at the International Symposium on Voronoi Diagrams 2010, held in Quebec City, Canada, in June 2010. The topics covered include: the development of new generalized Voronoi diagrams and algorithms including round-trip Voronoi diagrams, maximal zone diagrams, Jensen-Bregman Voronoi diagrams, hyperbolic Voronoi diagrams, and moving network Voronoi diagrams; new algorithms based on Voronoi diagrams for applications in science and engineering, including geosensor networks deployment and optimization and homotopic object reconstruction; and the application of Delaunay triangulation for modeling and representation of Cosmic Web and rain fall distribution.

This book constitutes the proceedings of the 16th International Symposium on Graph Drawing, GD 2008, held in Heraklion, Crete, Greece, during September 21-24, 2008. The 31 long papers and 8 short papers presented together with 10 posters and two invited papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 83 submissions. The volume also includes a report on the Graph Drawing Contest which was held during the conference. An important aspect of the conference is bridging the gap between theoretical advances and implemented solutions of geometric representation of graphs and networks.
