Technology-Enabled Innovations in Education
This book contains peer-reviewed selected papers of the 7th International Conference on Educational Innovation (CIIE 2020). It presents excellent educational practices and technologies complemented by various innovative approaches that enhance educational outcomes. In line with the Sustainable Development Goal 4 of UNESCO in the 2030 agenda, CIIE 2020 has attempted to “ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.” The CIIE 2020 proceeding offers diverse dissemination of innovations, knowledge, and lessons learned to familiarize readership with new pedagogical-oriented, technology-driven educational strategies along with their applications to emphasize their impact on a large spectrum of stakeholders including students, teachers and professors, administrators, policymakers, entrepreneurs, governments, international organizations, and NGOs.

Este es un libro colectivo. En más de un sentido. En primer lugar, recoge dinámicas y estrategias enfocadas a la creación literaria entre bachilleres, diseñadas e implementadas por pasantes o egresados de la carrera de Letras Hispánicas de la Universidad de Guadalajara que participan en el proyecto Luvina Joven, que coordina talleres de creación para estudiantes de preparatoria del Sistema de Educación Media Superior (sems) y algunos centros de la red universitaria. Pero a la vez estas actividades se nutren de un gran número de fuentes, muchas de ellas anónimas, porque derivan de las experiencias individuales de cada uno de los coordinadores de los talleres, recogidas a su vez de la participación tanto sistemática como informal en diversos espacios que se enfocan a estos mismos propósitos. La buena educación, a final de cuentas, es colectiva, y habría que remontarnos a nuestros maestros, y a los maestros de nuestros maestros hasta llegar al Primer Maestro, y seguir el proceso para identificar quién enseñó qué, con la consideración de que aquello que yo aprendí lo enseñaré a mi manera, y si mi alumno se vuelve maestro, continuará este proceso sin fin.

Advances in Soft Computing and Its Applications
The two-volume set LNAI 8265 and LNAI 8266 constitutes the proceedings of the 12th Mexican International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, MICAI 2013, held in Mexico City, Mexico, in November 2013. The total of 85 papers presented in these proceedings were carefully reviewed and selected from 284 submissions. The first volume deals with advances in artificial intelligence and its applications and is structured in the following five sections: logic and reasoning; knowledge-based systems and multi-agent systems; natural language processing; machine translation and bioinformatics and medical applications. The second volume deals with advances in soft computing and its applications and is structured in the following eight sections: evolutionary and nature-inspired metaheuristic algorithms; neural networks and hybrid intelligent systems; fuzzy systems; machine learning and pattern recognition; data mining; computer vision and image processing; robotics, planning and scheduling and emotion detection, sentiment analysis and opinion mining.

The two-volume set LNAI 7629 and LNAI 7630 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 11th Mexican International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, MICAI 2012, held in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, in October/November 2012. The 80 revised papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 224 submissions. The second volume includes 40 papers focusing on soft computing.
