International Forum for Comparative Psychology 2021 Abstract book
International Forum for Comparative Psychology has been organised by the Spanish Society of Comparative Psychology (SEPC), at the University of Almeria (online), on 23 and 24 September 2021. The attendance of the event was 148 participants: 87 attendees, 29 paper presenters, 29 poster presenters and 9 members of the organisational committee. The scientific works presented were 7 oral communication sessions (29 oral communications) and 2 poster sessions (29 posters). Funding: Department of Psychology of the University of Almeria and master’s degree in Nervous System Sciences from University of Almeria and the University of Rovira i Virgili.
XXXII INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE SPANISH SOCIETY FOR COMPARATIVE PSYCHOLOGY
The XXXII International Conference of the Spanish Society for Comparative Psychology has been organized by the Spanish Society of Comparative Psychology (SEPC), at the University of Almeria, on 21st, 22nd and 23rd September of 2022. The present work includes the abstracts of the different symposia, oral communications and poster sessions presented during the meetings. There were 2 plenary lectures about “Perceptual learning mechanisms and its implications for eating behavior” presented by Isabel de Brugada Sauras (University of Granada) and “Expanding the scope of associative learning models by incorporating the untidiness of natural stimuli” presented by Federico Sanabria and Cristina Santos (Arizona State University). Moreover, There were 30 symposia (divided into 7 sessions), 41 oral communications (divided into 8 sessions), and 55 posters (divided into 3 sessions). Finally, 21 people constituted the organizational committee and 27 people constituted the scientific committee.
Bioinformatics and Biomedical Engineering
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedical Engineering, IWBBIO 2016, held in Granada, Spain, in April 2016. The 69 papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 286 submissions. El grupo PAIDI CTS-969, dentro sus líneas de investigación, está involucrado en diversos proyectos relacionados con las adicciones enfocados al estudio de los patrones de consumo de sustancias adictivas, sus determinantes y posibles medidas de prevención y control. Es por ello, que el pasado 18 de diciembre de 2017 se constituyó como miembro de la Red Andaluza de Investigación en Drogas y Adicciones (RAIDA) dentro del Observatorio de Drogas y Adicciones de Andalucía.
Remembering Annie Hall
Since its release, Annie Hall has established itself as a key film for Woody Allen's career and the history of romantic comedy more generally. At the 1978 Academy Awards, it won Oscars for Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Actress and is regularly cited as one of the greatest film comedies ever released, credited with influencing directors such as Wes Anderson, Noah Baumbach, Richard Linklater, Greta Gerwig and Desiree Akhavan. This lively collection brings a new ethical and philosophical perspective to bear on Allen's work quite different from previous generations of scholars. At the same time as exploring the film's continuing influence on contemporary cinema, this book's contributors engage explicitly and implicitly with ongoing debates about Allen's cinematic output following the renewal of accusations against Allen by his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow in 2014 and 2018. The book is alive to debates within film studies about the limits of auteur theory and the role of the spectator.

Oxygen Transport to Tissue XXXVII
This book contains the refereed contributions from the 42nd annual meeting of ISOTT. The annual meetings of ISOTT bring together scientists from various fields (medicine, physiology, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, etc.) in a unique international forum. ISOTT conferences are a place where an atmosphere of interaction is created, where many questions are asked after each presentation and lively discussions occur at a high scientific level. This vivid interaction is the main motivation for members to participate and gain new ideas and knowledge in the broad field of oxygen transport to tissue. The papers in this volume summarize some of the outstanding contributions from the 42nd annual meeting, which included sessions on: cellular hypoxia and mitochondria; blood substitutes and oxygen therapeutics; oxygen transport in critical care medicine and disease; muscle oxygenation; multi modal imaging techniques; brain oxygenation and imaging; optical techniques for oxygen measurement; microcirculation; mathematical modelling of oxygen transport; and cancer metabolism.
