These volumes contain the collected works of the 20th century Nyingma polymath Dudjom Rinpoche Jikdral Yeshe Dorje (Bdud-'joms 'jigs-bral ye-shes rdo-rje; 1904-1984). Dudjom Rinpoche was a holder of the important Dudjom Tersar ('Dud 'joms gter gsar) lineage, and was himself a prolific treasure revealer (gter ston), writer, practitioner, and Tibetan Buddhist teacher. These volumes contain his collected writings and treasure revelations (gter ma). The table of contents volume contains an introduction to Dudjom Rinpoche's life and works, as well as a detailed description of the contents of each volume.

This book presents an English translation of the Samten Migdron (Lamp for the Eye of Contemplation) by Nubchen Sangye Yeshe, a seminal 10th-century Tibetan Buddhist work on contemplation. Ritual is one of the most pervasive religious phenomena in the Tibetan cultural world. This book is a translation of the second part of a commentary on the Treasury of Precious Qualities, the most celebrated work of Jigme Lingpa (1730–1798), one of the most important figures in the Nyingma lineage.
