Cara, a city girl from up north, has just moved to the small town of Fayette, Alabama with her family. Helping her adjust to the culture is a self-sufficient local boy named Bryant. As Cara and Bryant's relationship starts to deepen, the town begins to suffer from random outbreaks of extreme violence. From heartwarming stories of neighbors good deeds and lovers reunited after war to the tragedies of unsolved murders and abandoned children, Case presents an intimate look at the families, friends and neighbors who call Syracuse home.
