A coletânea que se apresenta é resultado da parceria firmada entre o Programa de Pós-graduação em Direito do Centro Universitário 7 de Setembro – UNI7 e a Procuradoria do Município de Fortaleza, com apoio institucional do Fundo de Aperfeiçoamento da Procuradoria do Município de Fortaleza – FAPMF. Trata-se de mais uma obra coletiva, composta por artigos de professores e alunos do Centro Universitário 7 de Setembro - UNI7. New Insights in Leprosy (Hansen's Disease)
Leprosy (or Hansen’s disease) is a chronic infectious granulomatous disease caused by Mycobacterium leprae and Mycobacterium lepromatosis that affects predominantly the skin and peripheral nerves. Leprosy is one of the oldest known illnesses of mankind; however, it is still one of the most neglected diseases worldwide, impacting more than 120 countries, mainly in underdeveloped settings. Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial for reducing the burden of this disease and avoiding long-term irreversible consequences such as deformities and mutilations. Thus, the World Health Organization has focused its efforts on preventive programs as well as the search for easy-to-handle diagnosis tools and the implementation of new strategies to improve the therapeutic options available.

About Trees
About Trees considers our relationship with language, landscape, perception, and memory in the Anthropocene. The book includes texts and artwork by a stellar line up of contributors including Jorge Luis Borges, Andrea Bowers, Ursula K. Le Guin, Ada Lovelace and dozens of others. Holten was artist in residence at Buro BDP. While working on the book she created an alphabet and used it to make a new typeface called Trees. She also made a series of limited edition offset prints based on her Tree Drawings.
A Teoria dos Jogos e a efetividade da mediação para conflitos familiares
Este estudo é fruto de dissertação de mestrado que integra a Linha 1 – O Processo na Construção do Estado Democrático de Direito – da Área 2 – Democracia, Constituição e Internacionalização – do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Direito da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais e trata da efetividade da mediação na busca de uma melhor solução para conflitos familiares. A metodologia utilizada foi a revisão bibliográfica, com o objetivo de demonstrar a efetividade desse método como uma possibilidade mais adequada de resolução para esse tipo de conflito, a partir da análise da Teoria dos Jogos, que analisa a relação entre os agentes em disputas. Dessa forma, foi possível entender se a mediação é uma solução mais adequada para conflitos familiares, pensando em um melhor acesso à justiça e, por fim, na edificação do Estado Democrático de Direito.
