Este libro de texto responde a las exigencias docentes y formativas para la asignatura Historia de la Filosofía según la legislación actual, Ley Orgánica 3/2020, de 29 de diciembre, por la que se modifica la Ley Orgánica 2/2006, de 3 de mayo, de Educación (LOMLOE). Atendiendo a esto, los contenidos se ajustan a los saberes básicos establecidos en el Real Decreto 243/2022, de 5 de abril, por el que se establecen la ordenación y las enseñanzas mínimas del Bachillerato, y se tratan con el fin de lograr que los alumnos alcancen las competencias generales y específicas exigidas según los criterios de evaluación curriculares. El libro incluye un apartado en el que se detalla y explica pormenorizadamente cómo realizar un buen comentario de texto que, sin duda, es una herramienta básica para la consecución de todos estos objetivos, así como actividades relacionadas al final de cada unidad.
