Centred around a marauding girl gang on a killing spree and a time-travelling Queen Elizabeth I, it's a story of what happens when creativity and nihilism collide.
Mirabel

And so, Mirabel and Bear set out on a journey across the new desert to find an adult to take care of everything. On the way, they'll acquire a ragged gang of fellow travellers, including a visionary red-eyed dog, and an injured pilot who insists he's not the grown-up they're looking for. A sad, strange fairytale, Mirabel is a story of what happens when you refuse to accept that you're lost. Mirabel is the new solo from the creator of the much-loved The Adventures of Wound Man and Shirley and the award-winning Men in the Cities.

Monkey Bars

The Forest and the Field
The Forest and the Field is a polemical thinking-through of the whole concept of theatre as a ‘space’, and a politically motivated exploration of how, and where, that theatrical space meets the real world that surrounds and suffuses it. The book begins by demolishing the notion of the ‘empty space’ and drawing careful and suggestive distinctions between ‘space’ and ‘place’. It moves on to consider how the body – of the actor, or of the spectator – is read within the theatrical encounter, and how meaning is created in the turbulent movement of signs between performer and audience. Finally it interrogates the wider relationship between theatre and its ‘outside’, culminating in an attempt to answer the familiar question of whether theatre can change the world – and, if it can, how it might.

I Brake for Humans
"I Brake for Humans" tells the tale of Chris Goode, a man who never imagined himself a hero or a villain, but whose life takes him down a path leading to one or the other. He is a victim of modern America's class warfare, a decent middle-class worker abandoned by a system rigged against him. After losing his wife, his job and his health he decides he has literally nothing left to lose. The time has come to seek revenge on the corporate elite that has taken control of his former employer, Sportstown. His actions bring together several characters from different backgrounds and with different agendas including FBI agents, reporters, truck drivers, and a protest movement. This book is the second in a series featuring members of the Goode family. The first tale, "Even Trolls Love Pasties" focused on Chris' cousin Jack and his days as a student in Ann Arbor during the 1970s.
