Este livro é fruto do esforço dos professores e pesquisadores reunidos no Grupo de Trabalho em Psicologia Ambiental da Associação Nacional de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação em Psicologia (GT-PsiAmbiental/ ANPEPP). En combinant les perspectives des sciences des religions, des migrations et des études urbaines avec l'analyse d'événements et de mises en scène artistiques et musicales, le présent ouvrage réunit des enquêtes empiriques et des réflexions théoriques autour des questions de visibilité dans le contexte francophone. Il montre comment les actrices et acteurs de culture musulmane performent leurs appartenances de manière situationnelle, parfois dans le but de «faire communauté», mais aussi de négocier leur place, au-delà des assignations identitaires, dans des espaces et des entités qu'il convient d'appréhender à différentes échelles: du voisinage de quartier aux réseaux transnationaux, en passant par les associations et les instances politiques.
