Jason Conrad, a man with the wealth of Bill Gates, decides to preserve for posterity the seeds of as many animal and plant species as possible in a vast and remote underground facility, taking the world's legitimate seed banks and "frozen zoos" to a whole new level. Conrad's secret doomsday complex, though, is staffed by a combination of environmental experts and mercenaries who will stop at nothing to achieve their once-noble ambitions. After a fellow police officer is murdered and his award-winning German shepherd disappears, Montreal Sergeant-Detective Irina Drach and her young partner, Sergeant-Detective Hudson, connect the crime with a seed bank raid in Ardingly, England, and the kidnapping of a Triple Crown Thoroughbred named Zarathustra. Soon it becomes apparent that highly organized, ruthless abduction teams are raiding seed banks around the world, as well as scooping up the finest animal specimens from zoos, nature preserves, and the wild. Despite the global implications and ballooning media interest, however, Irina never forgets that her foremost aim is to solve the murder of a friend and fellow officer.

Family Book of Remembrance and Genealogy, with Allied Lines
Jeremiah Meacham (1613/1614-1696) emigrated during or before 1650 from England to Southold, Long Island, New York, and married twice. Family tradition indicates he immigrated between 1630 and 1642 under an assumed name (possibly Weaver). Descendants and relatives lived throughout the United States. Joseph Mecham Sr. (1780-1845), a direct descendant in the sixth generation, married Sarah Basford, and they became Mormon converts. They moved from New Hampshire (via Ohio and Missouri) to Nauvoo, Illinois, where he died. His descendants and relatives lived in Utah, Idaho, Arizona, California and elsewhere. Includes much Mecham ancestry and genealogical data in England to about 1066 A.D., including various lines of nobility.

Coleman Pioneers of Utah
George Simco Coleman was born on November 1, 1814 in Sherington, England. He married Elizabeth Bailey on October 13, 1835 in Sherington, England. They had eleven children. Elizabeth died on April 22, 1880 in Holladay, Utah Territory. George died on June 15, 1888 in Cottonwood, Utah Territory. Prime Coleman was born on January 20, 1802 in Arlsey, England. He married Sarah Thornton on August 16, 1826 in England. Prime died on June 10, 1844 in Nauvoo, Illinois. Sarah died on March 1, 1892 in Lehi, Utah Territory.
