Keperawatan sebagai ilmu perawatan kesehatan, berfokus pada layanan kebutuhan manusia sebagai makhluk biopsikososial dan spiritual. Praktiknya tidak hanya membutuhkan pengetahuan ilmiah, tetapi juga kemampuan dan keterampilan interpersonal, intelektual, dan teknis. Buku ini disajikan dengan bahasa yang sederhana dan contoh kasus yang aktual. Harapannya, dengan hadirnya buku ini dapat menambah pengetahuan dan pemahaman dalam berkomunikasi kepada pasien.
