De um modo geral, os relatos de pesquisa reconhecem que professores e bibliotecários são atores fundamentais na formação de pessoas letradas em informação. As boas práticas têm mostrado que a efetividade dos programas de letramento informacional nas escolas exige um trabalho cooperativo principalmente entre esses dois profissionais. Mas o que se constata é que os próprios agentes pedagógicos e de inclusão digital carecem, eles mesmos, de uma educação para a informação e precisam desenvolver suas competências e habilidades informacionais. A discussão sobre a retomada de Marãiwatsédé, considerada a área mais desmatada da Amazônia Legal, evidencia feixes de afetos, de disputas e de solidariedades que modificam o modo com que as mulheres A'uw?-Xavante lidam com o outro, com a natureza e consigo mesmas. IV Seminário de Letramento Informacional
Este e-book (anais) reúne os artigos produzidos pelos participantes do curso e seus orientadores e que foram apresentados no IV Seminário Nacional de Letramento Informacional, ocorrido em Goiânia, nos dias 18 a 20 de julho de 2018. Os trabalhos apresentados no evento foram agrupados em 4 eixos, a saber: eixo 1 – Comportamento informacional; eixo 2 – Competência informacional; Eixo 3 - As bibliotecas e Aspectos técnico-tecnológicos e eixo 4 – Ética e fontes de informação. Global Perspectives on Sustainable Forest Management
This book is dedicated to global perspectives on sustainable forest management. It focuses on a need to move away from purely protective management of forests to innovative approaches for multiple use and management of forest resources. The book is divided into two sections; the first section, with thirteen chapters deals with the forest management aspects while the second section, with five chapters is dedicated to forest utilization. Soil pollution: a hidden reality
This document presents key messages and the state-of-the-art of soil pollution, its implications on food safety and human health. It aims to set the basis for further discussion during the forthcoming Global Symposium on Soil Pollution (GSOP18), to be held at FAO HQ from May 2nd to 4th 2018. The publication has been reviewed by the Intergovernmental Technical Panel on Soil (ITPS) and contributing authors. It addresses scientific evidences on soil pollution and highlights the need to assess the extent of soil pollution globally in order to achieve food safety and sustainable development. This is linked to FAO’s strategic objectives, especially SO1, SO2, SO4 and SO5 because of the crucial role of soils to ensure effective nutrient cycling to produce nutritious and safe food, reduce atmospheric CO2 and N2O concentrations and thus mitigate climate change, develop sustainable soil management practices that enhance agricultural resilience to extreme climate events by reducing soil degradation processes. This document will be a reference material for those interested in learning more about sources and effects of soil pollution.
