Born in Los Angeles and raised in the epicentre of the California hot rod explosion, Ed Roth created automotive forms purely from his own imagination. The DeWitt genealogy is a fascinating study of 26 generations of the family from 1293 to the present. This work is the collaboration of descendants of the three children of Leucas, ninth child of Tierck Clafsen DeWitt. American Ambassador Lester DeWitt Ballor of UEL descent obtained a copy from The Royal Library of the Hague of Beschayving DerStad Dordrecht by Mattys Balen, Jans Zoon published in 1677. This information provided the first thirteen generations in Holland. He also received a 32-page copy of a lawsuit in 1684 by Jan DeWitt on behalf of his brother Tierck for rent owned by Pieter Janz, their sister Faelde's husband. The property was land inherited by Tierck from his father Nicholaas. It provided information on her mother Taetje Cornelisz, her father, brothers and their shipyard.

Eric White's hyper-intensive, distortedly lucid paintings explore the shifting boundaries between beauty and horror. Developing out of the artist's fascination with the illusory properties and constructions of film, the paintings examine the varying layers of human perception by manipulating planes of focus and the reliability of form and colour. With work from four different galleries, this is a comprehensive collection of Eric White's career as a painter.
Shag is a leading light in contemporary hip art. Blending cartoon, tiki, and vintage illustrative sensibilities, Shag has garnered the attention of a legion of devoted fans and collectors who will delight in this new collection of his work. Shag's art looks back on the pop culture of the mid 20th century and blends it with a dose of modern irony, humor, and joy. An acolyte of Exotica, Tiki Culture, and cartoon illustration, Shag's work first looks retro, but on closer inspection is seen to be a loving exploration of the popular subconscious. This is the softcover edition.
