Seperti kita ketahui bersama, bahwa sampai saat ini masih jarang buku-buku tentang Pengendalian Infeksi Silang (PIS) pada Pelayanan Asuhan Kesehatan Gigi. Pengendalian Infeksi Silang merupakan salah satu Mata Kuliah yang diampu mahasiswa untuk penanggulangan masalah pencegahan terjadinya penularan penyakit. Untuk mengetahui hal tersebut kami mencoba menyusun Buku Pengendalian Infeksi Silang untuk dipergunakan untuk mahasiswa Jurusan Keperawatan Gigi dan materinya disesuaikan dengan kurikulum D III Keperawatan Gigi Tahun 2015. Kami menyadari tehnik penyusunan dan materi yang kami sajikan masih jauh dari pada sempurna dan penyusun sangat mengharapkan saran dan kritik yang membangun dari pembaca.
