The Widows Web is a story that carries several messages. Love is not diminished by wealth, nor is it protected. The house gift was written to demonstrate parental love that carries no price tag. Doug Harrison's presentation of the gift was written with personal empathy. The story also reminds us that while we may plan our futures, destiny often intervenes and takes us to a new path where the sun has not traveled, but where there can be comfort in the far off sounds of a bird singing to the forest. Andrea's voyage to a far off land was as much of a surprise to her as it is to the reader!

Letters to Andrea is book no. 3 of the trilogy, and the sequel to the authors first novel, The Widows Web. Book no. 2 of the trilogy is a companion novel, rather than a continuation of the original story. The reader can enjoy reading the sequel without having read Martins Story. However, to derive the most pleasure from reading this novel, one should first read The Widows Web. The events in Martins Story do appropriately take place between the time frames of these two novels. The story is not meant to demean the society of India in any way. However, it is about an American widow who has chosen to use her fortune to improve the quality of life for others less fortunate and to rescue the 'children of the street.' It's also about the uncanny events that places a young widow in the throws of an unpredictable love affair.

Human Assisted Reproductive Technology

Human Assisted Reproductive Technology: Future Trends in Laboratory and Clinical Practice offers a collection of concise, practical review articles on cutting-edge topics within reproductive medicine. Each article presents a balanced view of clinically relevant information and looks ahead to how practice will change over the next five years. The clinical section discusses advances in reproductive surgery and current use of robotic surgery for tubal reversal and removal of fibroids. It looks into the refinement of surgical procedures for fertility preservation purposes. Chapters also discuss non-invasive diagnosis of endometriosis with proteomics technology, new concepts in ovarian stimulation and in the management of polycystic ovary syndrome, and evidence-based ART. The embryology section discusses issues ranging from three-dimensional in-vitro ovarian follicle culture, and morphometric and proteomics analysis of embryos, to oocyte and embryo cyropreservation. This forward-looking volume of review articles is key reading for reproductive medicine physicians, gynecologists, reproductive endocrinologists, urologists and andrologists.

Object Relationship Notation (ORN) for Database Applications

Conceptually, a database consists of objects and relationships. Object Relationship Notation (ORN) is a simple notation that more precisely defines relationships by combining UML multiplicities with uniquely defined referential actions. This book shows how ORN can be used in UML class diagrams and database definition languages (DDLs) to better model and implement relationships and thus more productively develop database applications. For the database developer, it presents many examples of relationships modeled using ORN-extended class diagrams and shows how these relationships are easily mapped to an ORN-extended SQL or Object DDL. For the DBMS developer, it presents the specifications and ...
