Relacionar la información con los ciudadanos y la ciudadanía es fundamental tanto en nuestro entorno local como global, considerando que la categoría de ciudadano se refiere a un hombre o una mujer que pertenece a un grupo social estructurado políticamente, lo que le permite participar en asuntos económicos, sociales o de gobierno, entre otros, de su Estado o de su país, y para lograrlo de forma asertiva necesitamos informarnos y tener los conocimientos requeridos. Información, participación ciudadana y entre palabra e imagen es un esfuerzo en ese sentido, pues reúne las ideas de más de diez académicos nacionales e internacionales que son coordinados por la doctora Estela Morales para pensar cómo es que la ciudadanía puede empoderarse por medio de la información.

This book summarizes the research findings presented at the 2nd International Conference on Novel & Intelligent Digital Systems (NiDS 2022).
