The Patent
Opens your mind to things about which you've always wondered. Do you remember when you were a child and could take whatever ailed you to your grandmother, who, as if by special power, caused all your pains to go away? Well, essentially, this story is about the reflections of a young man who later becomes a doctor, who never forgot how his Mama was able to heal so many grievously ill people with just some herbs from the woods. In time he finds a cure for disease and seeks a patent, only to be impeded and taken on a journey beyond human thought.
