Coating and drying processes for functional films in polymer solar cells - from laboratory to pilot scale
Polymer solar cells can be produced by a continuous low cost coating and drying process. This work details a specialized experimental set-up to enable large scale roll to roll processing. Material properties such as surface energy, surface tension, and viscosity are presented and modelled. The impact of coating method, as well as process parameters (e.g. coating speed, shear rate, solvent composition) on process stability and film properties, is discussed.
Philosophical and Sociological Reflections on Labour Law in Times of Crisis
Starting from the assertion that crisis is part of the essence of labour law, this volume brings together researchers in the field who accepted the challenge to critically reflect on this branch of the discipline. As the COVID-19 pandemic has had a global impact, labour law across the world must come to terms with a new reality. Nanoscale investigation of potential distribution in operating Cu(In,Ga)Se2 thin-film solar cells
The distribution of the electrostatic potential in and between the materials in Cu(In,Ga)Se2 thin-film solar cells has a major impact on their superior performance. This thesis reported on the nanoscale imaging of the electrostatic potential on untreated cross sections of operating Cu(In,Ga)Se2 solar cells using Kelvin probe force microscopy.

Real-time Biomechanical Modeling for Intraoperative Soft Tissue Registration
Computer assisted surgery systems intraoperatively support the surgeon by providing information on the location of hidden risk and target structures during surgery. However, soft tissue deformations make intraoperative registration (and thus intraoperative navigation) difficult. In this work, a novel, biomechanics based approach for real-time soft tissue registration from sparse intraoperative sensor data such as stereo endoscopic images is presented to overcome this problem.
