Die Studie untersucht, wie Natural Wines-Konsumenten verschiedene Produkteigenschaften in Bezug auf die Natürlichkeit des Weines einstufen und wie hoch die Zahlungsbereitschaft für diese zusätzlichen Natürlichkeitsaspekte ist. Um dies zu erforschen, wenden die Autoren die traditionelle Conjoint-Analyse sowie das Preispremiumverfahren der Markenbewertung an. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die biodynamische Anbauweise und Weine ohne Schwefelzusatz von den Konsumenten als die natürlichsten Produktattribute wahrgenommen werden und dass die Mehrpreisbereitschaft bei Weinen aus biodynamischem Anbau am höchsten ist.
