Johann Jost George (b.ca. 1715) and his family immigrated in 1752 from the Palatinate of Germany to Lowhill Township in what is now Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsyl- vania, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas, Texas, New Mexico, California and elsewhere.
