Ambient Assisted Living and Active Aging

The 80 revised papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 224 submissions. The first volume includes 40 papers representing the current main topics of interest for the AI community and their applications. The papers are organized in the following topical sections: machine learning and pattern recognition; computer vision and image processing; robotics; knowledge representation, reasoning, and scheduling; medical applications of artificial intelligence.
