Entre caronas, hospedagens e faxinas contratadas por aplicativo, surgem as perguntas: "como o direito do trabalho se aplica a esses trabalhadores?"; "quais são as condições de trabalho nesse mundo digital?"; "como é esse meio ambiente de trabalho digital?". É preciso dar uma resposta jurídica às provocações das novas tecnologias, pois elas interferem no mundo do trabalho. Essas tecnologias possibilitam novas formas de trabalho e inovam na manifestação dos direitos e deveres do trabalhador e das empresas. O Direito deve se adaptar; deve se apropriar desses novos conceitos para viabilizar soluções às demandas sociais. Por quê? Porque o trabalho digital já é realidade.
