General description of the collection: The George W. Goodwin papers include a completed Korean War Veterans Survey questionnaire describing military leadership, military life and an instance of drug use, morale, his combat experience, a case of "shell shock," allied Korean troops, duty in post-war Korea, and his post-war experiences. A letter from Goodwin to Mr. Markley dated 18 January 1993 is included in the collection. The letter provides additional details of Goodwin's service on Hill 412 near Outpost Harry.
