He married 1913 in Berkeley, California, Hazle Clifton Lawton (1890-1948), daughter of Frank Houghteling Lawton born in Clyde, Wayne Co., N.Y. and his wife, Francis Marion "Fannie" Rogers born in San Francisco, Calif.
