The Life and Times of William Henry Harrison
William Henry Harrison was the ninth President of the United States and bears the unfortunate distinction of being the first sitting president to die in office. He also had the shortest term - a scant 32 days. The author, Burr, has not attempted to write a complete history of the time, only the events relevant to Harrison. Before he became president, he gained distinction at the Battle of Tippecanoe and later served as general, winning an instrumental victory at the Battle of the Thames.
