This volume contains the proceedings of the conference Automorphic Forms and Related Geometry: Assessing the Legacy of I.I. Piatetski-Shapiro, held from April 23-27, 2012, at Yale University, New Haven, CT. Ilya I. Piatetski-Shapiro, who passed away on 21 February 2009, was a leading figure in the theory of automorphic forms. The conference attempted both to summarize and consolidate the progress that was made during Piatetski-Shapiro's lifetime by him and a substantial group of his co-workers, and to promote future work by identifying fruitful directions of further investigation. It was organized around several themes that reflected Piatetski-Shapiro's main foci of work and that have promis...

This volume contains the proceedings of the LuCaNT (LMFDB, Computation, and Number Theory) conference held from July 10–14, 2023, at the Institute for Computational and Experimental Research in Mathematics (ICERM), Providence, Rhode Island and affiliated with Brown University. This conference provided an opportunity for researchers, scholars, and practitioners to exchange ideas, share advances, and collaborate in the fields of computation, mathematical databases, number theory, and arithmetic geometry. The papers that appear in this volume record recent advances in these areas, with special focus on the LMFDB (the L-Functions and Modular Forms Database), an online resource for mathematical objects arising in the Langlands program and the connections between them.

"The main subject of this book is the connection between Calabi-Yau threefolds and modular forms. The book presents the general theory and brings together the known results. It studies hundreds of new examples of rigid and non-rigid modular Calabi-Yau threefolds and correspondences between them. Conjectures about the possible levels of modular forms connected with Calabi-Yau threefolds are presented. Tables of newforms of weight four and large levels are compiled and included in the appendix."--Jaquette.
CSA Sociological Abstracts abstracts and indexes the international literature in sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. The database provides abstracts of journal articles and citations to book reviews drawn from over 1,800+ serials publications, and also provides abstracts of books, book chapters, dissertations, and conference papers.
This invaluable volume collects papers written by many of the world''s top experts on L -functions. It not only covers a wide range of topics from algebraic and analytic number theories, automorphic forms, to geometry and mathematical physics, but also treats the theory as a whole. The contributions reflect the latest, most advanced and most important aspects of L- functions. In particular, it contains Hida''s lecture notes at the conference and at the Eigenvariety semester in Harvard University and Weng''s detailed account of his works on high rank zeta functions and non-abelian L -functions. Sample Chapter(s). Chapter 1: Quantum Maass Forms (435 KB). Contents: Quantum Maass Forms (R Brugge...
