National and Regional Approaches for Ecological Networks in Europe
This report is written within the framework of the Council of Europe's Committee of Experts for the setting up of the Pan-European Ecological Network. It gives an overview of the concept of the ecological network dealing with nature conservation at national and regional levels. In addition, it presents the experiments carried out in 17 European countries and highlights the need to put ecological measures into practice by integrating them into planning policies.
Ecological Corridors in Land Use Planning and Development Policies
This study has been prepared in the framework of the work programme of the Committee of Experts for the Pan-European Ecological Network. It gives an overview of national approaches to realise ecological corridors through land use planning and development policies of countries implementing the Pan-European Biological and Landscape Diversity Strategy.
Urban Diaspora
This is a book on the rise and fall of diasporic communities in Early Modern urban centers in Denmark and Sweden.
