French Roll

An authentic adventure with an unimaginable mode of travel. Will roller skating 800 miles across the French Riviera make the man, or break him? From the icy peaks of Germany to the steamy beaches of France, the true story of a young man chasing his passion, finding his inner self, while roller skating across France begins when Michael, 19, gets a letter from his girlfriend asking him to meet her in Barcelona. He quits his daredevil job at the top of the German Alps and plots a risky two-month solo trek across the coast of southern France—on roller skates. It's easy to say, "Hold nothing back" or "Give everything." It's not so easy when the fate of the galaxy rests on your shoulders. Sometimes, you have to give more than everything. You have to give your life.

The Interstellar Age (The Complete Trilogy)

Forbidden the Stars At the end of the 21st century, a catastrophic accident in the asteroid belt has left two surveyors dead. There is no trace of their young son, Alex Manez, or of the asteroid itself. On the outer edge of the solar system, the first manned mission to Pluto, led by the youngest female astronaut in NASA history, has led to an historic discovery: there is a marker left there by an alien race for humankind to find. We are not alone! While studying the alien marker, it begins to react. Four hours later, the missing asteroid appears in a Plutonian orbit, along with young Alex Manez, who has developed some alarming side-effects from his exposure to the kinetic element they call K...

Interstellar Transport Device

This book provides the technical details and information for the construction of a starship drive or engines; it is designed for the technically minded individual or non-Engineer. The central core of the book is the Patented-Torque Platform Transport Device, Patent number US 6, 955, 235 B1. Provided in the book are the details for three types of drives. The mother ship- for interstellar travel, is elegant in it simplicity, an attribute required for long space missions, with few moving parts. The mother until I also about three times more efficient then the shuttle unit it would use the space ship itself as part of the engine. A smaller unit is also possible; it is basically a mother ship on ...

Molecular Complexes In Earth's, Planetary Cometary And Interstellar Atmospheres

This book introduces systematically the concept of weakly-bound complexes into the broad field of atmospheric sciences. To fill up the gap between our rapidly expanding knowledge of the individual properties of Van der Waals and hydrogen-bonded molecules, and our understanding of their role in the atmospheric processes, an ensemble of related topics are covered by a team of expert co-authors. The general properties of the weakly bound molecular complexes (or “clusters”) are discussed, as well as their distribution in the planetary atmospheres. Collision-induced and dimeric absorption and emission are considered in the context of atmospheric spectroscopy. The advanced experimental techniques which enable us to study the spectroscopic features of molecular complexes in the gas phase, or which are adsorbed, are reviewed. The role of molecular complexes in the cometary atmosphere, the Earth mesosphere, and the atmospheres of the giant planets and some of their satellites are also discussed in detail.

Music of the Spheres (The Interstellar Age Book 2)

The technology for interstellar flight exists through the power of Kinemet, but the key to unlocking its code lies in a thousand-year-old scroll left on Earth by an alien species. When the ancient manual is stolen before a full translation is completed, Alex, Michael and Justine scramble to recover it. Along the way, they stumble on an interplanetary conspiracy and uncover a secret that shatters their view of life and shakes the very foundations of our existence.
