Advances in Conceptual Modeling
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of three workshops symposia, held at the 40th International Conference on Conceptual Modeling, ER 2021, which were held virtually and in St. John’s, NL, Canada, in October 2021. The 11 papers promote and disseminate research on theories of concepts underlying conceptual modeling, methods and tools for developing and communicating conceptual models, techniques for transforming conceptual models into effective implementations, and the impact of conceptual modeling techniques on databases, business strategies and information systems. Enterprise, Business-Process and Information Systems Modeling
This book contains the refereed proceedings of two long-running events held along with the CAiSE conference relating to the areas of enterprise, business-process and information systems modeling: * the 23rd International Conference on Business Process Modeling, Development and Support, BPMDS 2022, and * the 27th International Conference on Exploring Modeling Methods for Systems Analysis and Development, EMMSAD 2022. The conferences were taking place in Leuven, Belgium during June 6-7, 2022. Situational Method Engineering: Fundamentals and Experiences
Over the last decade, Method Engineering, defined as the engineering discipline to design, construct and adapt methods, including supportive tools, has emerged as the research and application area for using methods for systems development.
