Conversos valencians i Inquisició

Education is a challenging subject for anarchists. Many are critical about working within a state-run education system that is embedded in hierarchical, standardized, and authoritarian structures. Numerous individuals and collectives envision the creation of counterpublics or alternative educational sites as possible forms of resistance, while other anarchists see themselves as “saboteurs” within the public arena—believing that there is a need to contest dominant forms of power and educational practices from multiple fronts. Of course, if anarchists agree that there are no blueprints for education, the question remains, in what dynamic and creative ways can we construct nonhierarchical...

The collected writings of Wolfi Landstreicher's Willful Disobedience. Originally published as a zine from 1996 to 2006, Willful Disobedience was a continuously evolving provocation directed towards anarchists and fellow vagabonds to dig deeper into critical thought and joyous rebellion. During the ten years of publication, Willful Disobedience wove together a web of ideas situation in the following threads: an anarchism based in Stirner-influenced egoism; an insurrectionary approach that sees individual insurrection to be as important as social insurrection; a non-primitivist critique of civilization that provides no program or model for a future society; explorations into a class analysis that rejects marxian categories, seeking to understand social relationships as they actually exist; insisting upon the need for anarchists to develop a coherent practice of theory capable of calling everything into question, including one's own ideas, and an anti-political perspective, critical of leftism, democracy, identity politics, and political correctitude.

Ho for the good green wood! Ho for brave Robin Hood! The adventures that flowed from the pen of Alexandre Dumas are well loved. Less known today are his tales of Robin Hood. It is our pleasure to provide these two old works to a new public: readers of the 21st Century. English versions of "The Prince of Thieves" and "Robin Hood the Outlaw" have virtually disappeared from bookshelves; they are now edited, corrected, and made accessible to the world in print and e-formats, by the Reginetta Press. This volume continues the story begun in "The Prince of Thieves." Read more of Robin and Marian's romance, and learn of Robin's unlucky betrayal by a woman; of Robin's valiant leadership of the Merrie Men including Little John, Will Scarlett, and Friar Tuck; their battles against the Sheriff of Nottingham ─ and the craven Prince John. Outwitting crafty ecclesiastics along the way, Robin at last bows to King Richard Coeur-de-Lion. Retold in Alfred Allinson's lush translation from the original French, the hero's adventure winds to a stirring conclusion.
