Christian Heidelberg and Some of His Descendants, 1720-1982
Christian Heidelberg (d.ca. 1739/1741) emigrated from Germany to Edenton, Chowan (later Bertie) County, North Carolina before or during 1720, and married Sabra Middleton about 1725. Descendants lived in North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Texas, California and elsewhere.
Descendants of Giles Newton, I
Giles Newton, I was born in about 1734 in Henrico County, Virginia. He married Elizabeth Terrell, daughter of James Terrell and Mary Watkins, in about 1759. They had six children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and Texas.
