1 The tenth anniversary of the LOPSTR symposium provided the incentive for this volume. LOPSTR started in 1991 as a workshop on logic program synthesis and transformation, but later it broadened its scope to logic-based program development in general, that is, program development in computational logic, and hence the title of this volume. This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 19th International Conference on Logic Programming, ICLP 2003, held in Mumbai, India in December 2003. The 23 revised full papers and 19 poster papers presented together with 5 invited full contributions and abstracts of 4 invited contributions were carefully reviewed and selected from 81 submissions. All current issues in logic programming are addressed.
Model Checking and Artificial Intelligence
This book presents revised versions of selected papers from the 6th Workshop on Model Checking and Artificial Intelligence, MoChArt 2010, held in Atlanta, GA, USA in July 2010, as well as papers contributed subsequent to the workshop. The 7 papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected for inclusion in this book. In addition, the book also contains an extended abstract of the invited talk held at the workshop. The topics covered by these papers are general search algorithms, application of AI techniques to automated program verification, multiagent systems and epistemic logic, abstraction, epistemic model checking, and theory of model checking.
Programming Languages and Systems
This is the second time that of ESOP has formed part of the ETAPS cluster of conferences, workshops, working group meetings and other associated activities. One of the results of colocatingso many conferences is a reduction in the number of possibilities to submit a paper to a European conference and the increased competition between conferences that occurs when boundaries between indiv- ual conferences have not yet become well established. This may have been the reason for the fact that only 44 submission were received this year. On the other hand we feel that the average quality of submissions has gone up, and thus the program committee was able to select 18 good papers, only one less than...
