This volume constitutes the proceedings of the 7th IFIP WG 8.1 Conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modeling held in November 2014 in Manchester, UK. The focus of the PoEM conference series is on advances in the practice of enterprise modeling through a forum for sharing knowledge and experiences between the academic community and practitioners from industry and the public sector. The 16 full and four short papers accepted were carefully reviewed and selected from 39 submissions. They reflect different topics of enterprise modeling including business process modeling, enterprise architecture, investigation of enterprise modeling methods, requirements engineering, and specific aspects of enterprise modeling.
This volume constitutes the proceedings of the 10th IFIP WG 8.1 Conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modeling held in November 2017 in Leuven, Belgium. The conference was created by the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) Working Group 8.1 to offer a forum for knowledge transfer and experience sharing between the academic and practitioner communities. The 20 full papers and 4 short papers accepted were carefully reviewed and selected from 70 submissions. They include research results, practitioner/experience reports and work-in-progress papers and were presented in 8 sessions covering diverse topics related to enterprise modelling and its application in practice.
This book constitutes the proceedings of the 16th International Conference on Perspectives in Business Informatics Research, BIR 2017, held in Copenhagen, Denmark, in August 2017. This year the BIR conference attracted 59 submissions from 23 countries. They were reviewed by 45 members of the Program Committee, and as a result, 17 full papers and 3 short papers were selected for presentation at the conference and publication in this volume. They are organized in sections on enterprise architecture, business process management, business analytics, information systems applications, and information systems development. In addition, the summaries of the two conference keynotes are also included. This year, the conference theme was the digital transformation, which will impact most businesses, organizations and societies and call for new and radical approaches to how we adopt, use and manage IT.

The 24 revised full and 6 short papers were carefully reviewed and selected out of 59 submissions and are presented together with 4 demonstrations. This volume constitutes the proceedings of the 4th IFIP WG 8.1 Working Conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modeling, held in Oslo, Norway, during November 2-3, 2011. The conference series is a dedicated forum where the use of enterprise modeling (EM) in practice is addressed by bringing together researchers, users, and practitioners in order to develop a better understanding of the practice of EM, to contribute to improved industrial EM applications, and to share knowledge and experiences. The 18 papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 38 submissions. Authored by both researchers and practitioners, they reflect the fact that EM encompasses human, organizational issues as well as technical aspects related to the development of information systems.
