Cage of Ghosts
Jon Rhodes was the recipient of an H.C. Coombs Creative Arts Fellowship at the Australian National University in 2006. Mapping Our World
The cover image, World Map by Fra Mauro c. 1450, is one of the most important and famous maps of all time. This monumental map of the world was created by the monk Fra Mauro in his monastery on the island of San Michele in the Venetian lagoon. Katie Langloh Parker was a white woman who notated the Aboriginal language Euahlayi and collected the legends from the Noongahburrahs in the latter decades of the nineteenth century. But her publication of the legends is controversial.
