The author tries to bring them together by introducing complicated twists and turns to the plot. But these two stubborn characters try to best each other as soon as reconciliation seems imminent. Their shenanigans leaves the reader to wonder if these two procrastinating lovers will ever have denouement in their lives. Will Florence finally see the light of day about her feelings for Adam and will Adam metamorphose from the bad and the ugly to the good?
