Ruy Diaz de Mendoza was a "caballero muy principal" of Granada. His historical importance is primarily due to his relationships with famous people of the 16th century. He was a relative of the Marques de Mondejar and married to Doña Catalina de Salazar, the daughter of Factor of New Spain Gonzalo Salazar. La prueba a debate
La prueba, como actividad en la que se pretende convencer al juez sobre la certeza de los hechos controvertidos, es siempre muy compleja. Por ello es fundamental dominar todos los aspectos del derecho probatorio, máxime cuando en ella radica el triunfo o fracaso de uno de los justiciables. Esta relevancia judicial de la actividad probatoria ha llevado al moderno constitucionalismo a prever en las Cartas Magnas un precepto dedicado al derecho a la prueba: ello sucede tanto en la Constitución española, con su art. 24.2, como con la más reciente de las constituciones latinoamericanas, la cubana, de 2019, con su art. 94.c).
