Die zeitweise in erbittertem Duktus geführte Diskussion über "Integration" oder "Multikulti" versus "Leitkultur" ist von der politischen Agenda entschwunden – die Betroffenen sind allerdings weiterhin anwesend in Deutschland. In seiner Studie richtet der Autor auf Grundlage theoretischer Überlegungen wie auch bemerkenswerter Interviewsequenzen den Fokus auf eine Entwicklung, die von der Gesellschaft oft nicht wahrgenommen wird: junge, türkischsprachige Migranten fühlen sich nicht als Teil dieser Gesellschaft und ziehen entscheidende politische Schlussfolgerungen. Als praktische Konsequenz entsteht ein rechts-nationalistisches Potenzial, das bereits nach Ausdruck sucht. Von dieser Entwicklung im politischen Bewusstsein junger Menschen – unter unser aller Augen – sollte man wissen.
