A Unesco e a educação rural brasileira: no Paraná, o caso de Prudentópolis propõe-se a discutir as influências da Unesco nos assuntos relacionados à educação rural no Brasil, entre os anos de 1936 a 1996. A investigação analisa em que medida as recomendações da Unesco, constituÃda em 1945 como um organismo especializado da ONU, interferiram nos rumos da educação rural no Brasil, tomando como exemplo, no Paraná, o municÃpio de Prudentópolis. Escrito por uma ex-aluna e filha de professora de escolas rurais paranaenses, com a participação de sua orientadora, o livro representa o resultado de densa pesquisa documental, articulada com depoimentos de profissionais que contribuÃram com a educação rural no perÃodo.
