Life on Earth has been hacked and genetic coding is understood. Transfer RNA (tRNA) is the core feature in evolution of translation (protein synthesis) systems. The pre-life sequences of the first type I and type II tRNAs are now known with certainty. Pre-life tRNA sequences are a preserved molecular fossil that relate a clear story of the evolution of the genetic code and the origin of life. Because pre-life tRNA sequences were highly ordered (RNA repeats and inverted repeats), tRNA evolution was solved as a puzzle by inspection. The anticodon loop of tRNA is a specialized feature that was likely required to evolve living systems with a 3-nucleotide genetic code. To generate life on Earth or another moon or planet requires tRNA or another genetic adapter that is just as good. The genetic code evolved around the tRNA anticodon and its reading on the primitive ribosome. Analysis of tRNA, therefore, provides clear insights into evolution of the genetic code, ribosomes and the origin of life.
This book features research papers presented at the 5th International Conference on Intelligent Sustainable Systems (ICISS 2022), held at SCAD College of Engineering and Technology, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India, during February 17–18, 2022. The book discusses latest research works that discusses the tools, methodologies, practices, and applications of sustainable systems and computational intelligence methodologies. The book is beneficial for readers from both academia and industry.
The individual papers that comprise this monograph are derived from two American Chemical Society (ACS) Fall National Meetings that focused on the current uses of synchrotron radiation (SR) research techniques. The first Symposium was held in Washington, DC, in August 1994, and the second convened in Chicago, IL, in August 1995. The intent of these symposia was to present a broad overview of several current topics in industrial, chemical, and materials-based SR research to a chemically inclined audience. The SR techniques covered were divided roughly into the three general fields of industrial, chemical, and materials science for this purpose. Included within these four categories are enviro...
This book includes a set of rigorously reviewed world-class manuscripts addressing and detailing state-of-the-art research projects in the areas of Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Information Sciences. The book presents selected papers from the conference proceedings of the International Conference on Systems, Computing Sciences and Software Engineering (SCSS 2006). All aspects of the conference were managed on-line.
