Alexander Wyly (1808-1881) married Elizabeth Conran, and in 1851 they immigrated from Ireland to Australia. They were preceded by Alexander's niece, Isabella Alice Wyly (1833-1915), who immigrated earlier in 1851 and married John William Scott in 1859. A brother of Alexander's, Robert Wyly (1807-1854), immigrated with his family in 1854.
